Trip: San Juan Capistrano with Josi, Darlene
Meet at the Solana Beach train station – 105 North Cedros Ave, Solana Beach 92075.
Parking lot is just north of the train station.
We’ll take the 8:46 am train.
Tickets can be bought online (www.Amtrak.com) or at the train station – just allow time to purchase before boarding. Cost is approx $18.45 each way ($36.90).
Those who would rather drive, meet us at the San Juan Capistrano train station at 9:42. There is a parking garage at the station or look for street parking.
(There are other starting locations and times for the trains Check Amtrak.com if you want a different train time or location.)
Upon arrival we will go to Hidden House Coffee for coffee/snacks. This is located directly across the tracks.
We’ll spend our day wandering and photographing with our Poly friends. The mission is a great place to photograph. Admission is $10/$9 for seniors.
We’ll have lunch at Ciao Pasta Trattoria around 2:00 pm. (the food here is GREAT). The restaurant is located at 31661 Camino Capistrano, across the street from the mission and near the train depot.
We’ll leave SJC on the 4:14 train and arrive back in Solana Beach at 5:12
