Come on down to the PAB!!! It’s Poly’s turn to clean our photo-home. The larger the crew, the shorter the job. Lend a hand to help make the PAB sparkle.
Leslie and I want to get out and shoot! Please join us? Let’s meet at the coffee cart in front of the Prado Restaurant @ 8 AM; wearing masks and socially distanced, of course. We will roam around Balboa Park alone or in small groups. I would love to post 3 of your favorite images from our shoot on our website. Mike Packard is working on that…thank you, Mike! Walkabout – with cell phone!
Saturday, May 22nd meet in front of the Photo Arts Building in Balboa Park at 9:15am, cell phones fully charged and ready to go!
We will then walkabout Balboa Park looking for that most excellent image with your cell phone.
Meet back up at 10:50am in front of the El Prado area near the El Cid Statue for a group photo.
Then fully vaccinated people can mosey over to the outdoor Panama 66 restaurant for an early lunch (they open at 11am) and, of course, conversation!
Sunday June 27th. Meet in parking lot at 9am. 2040 N Santa Fe Ave, Vista, CA 92083. Contact Carol Murdock (1mtnmom@cox.net) if you are interested in attending. $8 entry, $7 Seniors. Parades, demonstrations in weaving, spinning, blacksmithing, wood work and old cars. So much to take photos of!
