Lightroom is much more than just an application to manage and edit your photos. Lightroom is a complete cloud based system that connects you with your images every where you go, on every device you own. Theresa will demonstrate how it works using a computer, iPhone and an iPad. Her presentation will include:
- What the Lightroom ecosystem is and how it works
- Creative Cloud subscription plan options
- How much cloud storage you get with your subscription, and why it matters
- What the difference is between Lightroom and Lightroom Classic. Which one should you use.
- How to automatically sync Lightroom mobile photography back to your desktop computer
We will be meeting at the PA
B for Poly’s annual feast and photo sharing. Bring something yummy to share with your fellow club members. We’ll begin at 9:30.
Those who wish to help with set-up, please arrive around 9:00. We’ll be dining in the main projection room. This is always a great chance to chit-chat and have fun with fellow club members. After our potluck, we’ll view images from members.
If you want to share images, please bring them on a stick-drive the day of the event. A CD or DVD will suffice, but a stick drive is best. Your presentation should be no more than 5 minutes. It’s always fun to see what others can come up with in this non-competitive atmosphere. Maybe a special project you’ve been working on or images from your vacation, etc. This can be a PowerPoint, video or a series of photos. Any images from a this year’s Poly outings such as Santa Fe, St. George or Mission San Juan Capistrano would be a nice highlight.
The morning will end when our stomachs are full and the images have been viewed, sometime around noon??

Not necessary but IF you have these, bring them: 1) Cable release / remote trigger system; 2) a small black (and one of white) piece of cardstock or foam core etc. Even painted cardboard will work; 3) Clips, clamps, closepins. Tape, glue etc. anything else that you use to secure objects or lean things on; 4) If you want to work with water, bring a spray bottle and anything you might use to apply drops (I also have applicators that I will share)
