Presentation: Susan Coppock, Compositing

Come on down to the PAB!!! It’s Poly’s turn to clean our photo-home. The larger the crew, the shorter the job. Lend a hand to help make the PAB sparkle.
Grab your favorite beverage, a tasty appetizer and a significant other who would like to join in. Let’s hear what we’ve all been doing during our time away from the PAB.
The link to the Zoom Poly Happy Hour will be sent out via email next week.
Jodie Hulden is a well-regarded artist who specializes in Black & White photography. She will take us through the history of this medium while showcasing famous photographers whose work is vastly different yet breathtaking. Jodie gave this presentation to WiCP and I thoroughly enjoyed it. JodieHulden.com
Jodie Hulden is a California-based artist whose contemplative photography focuses on intimate landscapes and still life vignettes. She has a degree in art from San Diego State University. She has studied with George DeWolfe, Carlin Tapp, Michael Frye, Brett Erickson and Susan Burnstine. Her work has won numerous awards and she has exhibited her prints nationally.
Debbie Lefever is an award-winning, passionate photographer who loves to shoot anything in front of her lens. Her flower photography is as beautiful as it is technically perfect.
Debbie knows we are mostly intermediate/advanced shooters so she won’t talk (much) about aperture, shutter speed and ISO. She will teach you the tips and tricks which took her a bit of time to learn about shooting flowers. Tips for shooting in the field. Tips for shooting in your studio. Ways to look at light and gear differently. How to find hidden beauty.
I became acquainted with Debbie through a mutual friend. The first work I saw of Debbie’s were her breathtaking “twirl” images. I’ve asked her to give a brief demonstration at the end of her presentation. A bit of a “tease” to spark your interest.
Prior to the presentation you will receive a pdf with Debbie’s gear list and LOTS of resources.
