Learn Something New…Flower Photography
Oct 17 @ 9:30 am – 11:30 am

Debbie Lefever is an award-winning, passionate photographer who loves to shoot anything in front of her lens.  Her flower photography is as beautiful as it is technically perfect.

Debbie knows we are mostly intermediate/advanced shooters so she won’t talk (much) about aperture, shutter speed and ISO.  She will teach you the tips and tricks which took her a bit of time to learn about shooting flowers.  Tips for shooting in the field.  Tips for shooting in your studio.  Ways to look at light and gear differently.  How to find hidden beauty.

I became acquainted with Debbie through a mutual friend.  The first work I saw of Debbie’s were her breathtaking “twirl” images.  I’ve asked her to give a brief demonstration at the end of her presentation.  A bit of a “tease” to spark your interest.

Prior to the presentation you will receive a pdf with Debbie’s gear list and LOTS of resources.

“Twirling” photographs and beginning Fractals
Jan 16 @ 9:30 am – 11:30 am

Debbie Lefever is back!  You may recall at the end of her presentation last October, she gave us a brief demonstration of how to “twirl” a photo.  She has a fun presentation to share with us.  Next she will explain and give a beginner’s guide to creating Fractals (a curve or geometric figure, each part of which has the same statistical character as the whole).
